The 20th International Labour Organization (ILO) Regional Conference for Labour-Based Practitioners will take place from May 19 to 23, 2025, at the African Union Conference Centre in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE), the Ethiopian Roads Administration (ERA), and the International Labour Organization (ILO), this prestigious event will centre on the theme: "Resilient Communities and Healthy Environment: The Employment-Intensive Investment Programme (EIIP) Approach."

The Regional Conference brings together global policymakers, planners, practitioners, and researchers to exchange ideas on policies and programs that promote decent jobs and sustainable livelihoods in Africa. Ethiopia, which hosted the 17th ILO Regional Seminar in 2017, will again host the 20th edition from May 19 - 23, 2025 under the theme: "Resilient Communities and Healthy Environment: The EIIP Approach.

It is a great honor for the Ethiopian Roads Administration, in collaboration with the Ministry of Urban
